Supporting Commercialisation of Research in Lowland and Uplands Scotland

Description

The project comprises a small portfolio of nationally strategically important projects aimed directly at maximizing commercialisation activity from Scottish Universities.  It is one of two applications encompassing Scottish Enterprise's role as a Strategic Delivery Body (SDB) for the 2007-2013 ERDF Lowlands and Uplands Programme, the other SDB bid being focused on research and innovation within Scotland's company base.

The projects are designed to achieve nationally significant impact on growth potenital of Scotland's priority industry sectors, particularly: energy, electroinic markets and life sciences.  Each project is a collaborative project with Scotland's higher education and research sector involving almost every HE institution in Scotland.
