eHealth services for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry

The need for psychiatric services for children and adolescents generally exceeds service capacity. The eCAP project aims to solve problems in the delivery of mental health promotion and child and adolescent psychiatry services to remote areas. The aim of this project is to develop diagnosis, consultation, supervision, treatment and collaboration between professionals by using modern information technology - videoconferencing (VC) systems and the Development and Wellbeing Assessment, a computerised structured instrument for gathering diagnostic data from families, teachers and young people themselves.
