Do you, or organisations you work with, receive EU funds?
Do you need to work smart?
Do you want free market development & project delivery tools?
The Edinburgh Centre for Carbon Innovation (ECCI) and the Edinburgh Chamber of Commerce are organising this free workshop on smart specialisation, where participants will be able to explore and give feedback on a range of free strategy and entrepreneurship tools and help shape the future of innovation and economic growth in Scotland and beyond.
The session will be introduced by Ed Craig, ECCI Deputy Director, who leads the centre’s innovation and international activities and has more than 25 years’ experience as an entrepreneur and business adviser.
Breakfast will be served from 8:30, with the workshop taking place from 9:00 until 10:00.
Participants will be entered into a draw to win an Apple iPad mini.
The session is part of an EU-funded project called Online S3, which is a digital platform bringing together tools and advice to help people in any sector or role produce a smart specialisation strategy.
ECCI, based in the UK’s most sustainable historic building and with a new base in Hong Kong, brings together people from business, research, communities and governments to turn good low carbon ideas into reality. It supports a thriving community of low carbon enterprises and provides policy insight and evidence to inform government decisions.
This event is open to both members and non-members of Edinburgh Chamber of Commerce - non-members can book by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or by phoning 0131 221 2999.
