Interreg North West Europe Applicants Workshop

The North West Europe (NWE) Interreg Programme UK Contact Points and Scotland Europa are pleased to confirm that the North West Europe Applicants Workshop in Glasgow, organised in preparation for the 6th Call for applications (16 October – 17 November)  will take place from 10h00 until 13h00 on Tuesday 5 September in Atlantic Quay, Glasgow.

Filippo Compagni, the UK Contact Point, will highlight what the programme is seeking in terms of good quality applications, with hints and tips and some case studies, looking at the themes (Innovation, Low Carbon, Resource and Material Efficiency), explaining the application requirements and process, with focus on Step 1 application form, and discussing project ideas and partnerships.   At the end of the main session there will be an opportunity for more in depth 1-2-1 meetings with Filippo, the programme UK Contact Point.

The workshop will run from 10h30 to 13h00, with individual meetings taking place in the afternoon. The Agenda is as follows: 

  • Welcome – Scotland Europa
  • Introduction – Filippo Compagni, UK Contact Point - Programme overview; application process overview
  • The What – developing the project idea - Intervention logic/partnership/results, etc. - including projects discussion
  • The How – the application process - Step 1 application form; dos & don’ts; application resources; assessment process
  • Examples from approved projects
  • Q & A
  • Buffet lunch  (followed by 1-2-1s, by appointment)
